About Us
Government Engineering College Godda has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology from the academic session 2025–26. The college has commenced its academic journey with three undergraduate disciplines: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (Additive Manufacturing) and Mining Engineering, with an approved intake of 60+10 students in each branch.
At present, the college is functioning from its temporary campus at Government Polytechnic Bhaga, located near the BIT Sindri Campus, while the permanent campus infrastructure is being developed at Godda.
As the institution grows, its commitment remains unwavering—to nurture skilled, innovative, adaptable, and ethical engineers capable of contributing to the technological and industrial advancement of Jharkhand and the nation.
